We then headed uptown to the Christmas tree and famous ice-rink at Rockefeller Plaza. It packed with holiday visitors and in
the twinkling lights of the tree we saw an advertisement for 'Top of the Rock' - the newly opened observation deck at Rockefeller Center.  We went in with no wait and Marc was able to smuggle the 'rock' in his pocket undetected through security.  After visiting the first and second decks, we finally arrived at the Top of the Rock and Marc started scouting for a good spot to  propose. Although it was not very
crowded, this was a difficult task because tourists continued to come to the quiet spot he had found.  Finally we had a moment toourselves and Marc fell to one knee, took out the ring and proposed.

Julie said yes. Ja!
